  4. Lemongrass oil extract contains 65 to 85 percent Citral compounds, the rest are Myrcene, Citronella, Citronellol, and Geraniol. Citral compounds used as an anti-cancer that can kill the growth of cancer cells.
  5. Usefull for heartburn medicine, digestive health, and to eliminate toxins from the body.
  6. Lemongrass to cure anemia, lose weight, good for people with insomnia. It can also reduce high cholesterol levels, high blood pressure, help improve concentration and intelligence.
  7. Hydrosols, as a by-product of the distillation process, have used for skin care products such as lotions, creams, and facial cleansers.

Our parents have long used lemongrass leaves and stems as a herb or spice. Lemongrass tea recipe as below:
  1. Provide a quarter cup of lemongrass that has sliced, a quarter slice of mint leaves, leaf tea or tea bags for a glass of dose.
  2. Boil lemongrass and mint leaves into 3 cups of water with low heat, wait a while until the water becomes one cup.
  3. Move the finished potion into its own container.
  4. While hot, add tea leaves and cover for a few minutes until the overall aroma is pervasive. Very well drunk in warm conditions.
  5. If no mint leaves, replaced with cinnamon or ginger. Benefits of tea to prevent dementia, and tea prevents bone marrow disorders.
